...of Kathleen Y’Barbo's Flora's Wish is karenk! Congrats!
I have some questions for those of you who have won books on Novel PASTimes before:
Where is your favorite place to post reviews? Do you feel like you are helping the authors we interview when you read a book you've won that you enjoyed? I've heard that Goodreads is rivaling Amazon now for providing helpful reviews. We read books because of recommendations. How do you recommend books you read?
Let's talk about it!!!

Congrats karenk!
My favorite place to post reviews is Goodreads. I post on Amazon, too, but not quite as often. When I have access to a computer (I'm a mobile user), I will post reviews on Christian Book. Oh and have started doing some reviews on Novel Crossing.
If the book is really really good, I'll post it on twitter and google+.
I hope I feel like I am helping the authors in some way.
I do usually feel like I really am helping the author, which is exactly what I want to do for my favorite authors! :) I post my review first on my blog, then on Amazon and GoodReads. For blog tours, I usually include it on Barnes & Noble as well. Again, if it's a blog tour or a book I really liked, I also post links to my blog review on Twitter and my blog's G+ and Facebook pages. And if I REALLY liked the book, I include it on lists of my favorite books, etc. Talk it up as much as possible.
If I'm researching a new book/author to read, I go to GoodReads first. I can see what my friends thought of it/them. I don't read many of the Amazon reviews in general unless I'm looking to buy, and then it's mostly reviews for electronics or whatnot.
Hope that helped! :)
Good to hear, Amy and Charity. Talking it up is an author's dream! Keep up the good work. It's also good to hear where you go when you're trying to decide whether or not to try a book.
