Susan Page Davis -- Recently Writing Christmas Romance -- Day Two

We're back today with author Susan Page Davis, who is the author of more than 50 novels and novellas in the historical romance, mystery, and suspense genres. She is the mother of six and grandmother of nine. A Maine native, she now lives in western Kentucky with her husband Jim. Visit her website at: www.susanpagedavis.com , where you enter another free book drawing, subscribe to her newsletter, and read a short story on her Romance page, besides seeing all her books.

Welcome back, Susan. Which writing tasks do you procrastinate the most?

Anything that involves using new technology, new software, or figuring out a new online site or service. When my creditors ask me if I want to go paperless for my bills, I always say NO!

Me too, Susan! What keeps you motivated in your writing each day?

Bills are a great motivator. But seriously, I have a lot of stories in my head. If I don’t let them out, who knows what would happen?

Please tell us about your favorite and least favorite parts of marketing your book?

Most favorite: interacting with readers. Least favorite: putting myself out there!

What is your favorite book of the Bible? Would you care to share why?

Philippians—because it is so encouraging.

How has the Lord led you to become a writer? (What is your writing testimony?)

I have always been verbally oriented. I learned to read early and began writing stories as a child. As an adult, the Lord opened up nonfiction work for me in magazines and newspapers. At the age of 45, I decided to pursue a career in fiction. When I sold my first book, Protecting Amy, I felt that choice was validated.

God is so gracious in leading us, isn't He? Thank you
for joining us these last two days, Susan, and sharing
about  your writing journey.
